A queue label is a string with a maximum length of 124 Unicode characters that you can use to identify the queue. For example, queues that accept messages that a specific application sends might all have the label "Messages from my application."
Changing queue labels

Open Computer Management.
In the console tree, right-click the queue.
Computer Management/Services and Applications/Message Queuing/YourQueueFolder (Public Queues or Private Queues)/YourQueue

On the General page, in Label, type the new label for the queue.
To open Computer Management on Windows® 7, click Start, right-click Computer, and then click Manage.
To open Computer Management on Windows Server® 2008 R2, click Start, click All Programs, click Administrative Tools, and then click Computer Management.
