Use Windows authentication only in an intranet environment. This authentication enables you to use authentication on your Windows domain to authenticate client connections.

Select to manage Windows authentication.

Enable

Turns on Windows authentication.

Disable

Turns off Windows authentication.

Advanced Settings

Opens the Advanced Settings dialog box where you can enable or disable kernel mode authentication and configure Extended Protection settings. You can perform this action only when you enable Windows Authentication from the list on the feature page.
