When you create a connection profile, you must specify the operating systems that it supports. Connection Manager 1.4 and its Administration Kit (CMAK) in Windows Server® 2008 R2 add support for features that require Windows Vista®, Windows Server® 2008, Windows® 7, or Windows Server 2008 R2 on the client computer. Selecting the correct target operating system group ensures that the most appropriate features are available to the users of the profile.
