The DirectAccess Setup wizard has four steps for the initial configuration that must be followed in order:
- Step 1: Configure DirectAccess Clients
- Step 2: Configure the DirectAccess Server
- Step 3: Identify Infrastructure Servers for DirectAccess
- Step 4: Identify Application Servers for DirectAccess
After you complete the four steps, click Finish to display the DirectAccess Review dialog box, which summarizes the settings. To configure the DirectAccess server and create Group Policy objects (GPOs) and settings, click Apply.
To reset the default DirectAccess Setup wizard settings, right-click the Setup node in the DirectAccess snap-in, and then click Reset console settings. When you reset the settings, you cannot load a previous configuration that is stored in an Extensible Markup Language (XML) file.
To reset the default settings for the DirectAccess Setup wizard, DirectAccess server settings, and GPO settings, right-click the Setup node in the DirectAccess snap-in, and then click Undo configuration. The GPOs that were previously created by the DirectAccess Setup wizard are not removed, but the DirectAccess settings within them are removed.
