GUID

Displays the globally unique identifier (GUID) of the computer that sent the message.

A GUID is a 128-bit (16-byte) integer. The GUID format for computers is {12345678-1234-1234-1234-123456789012}.

Name

Displays the path for the computer that sent the message.

User

Displays the name of the user who sent the message.

SID

Displays the security identifier (SID) of the user who sent the message.

Authenticated

Indicates whether the message is authenticated.

Hash algorithm

Displays the hash algorithm.

The sending application defines the values of the hash algorithm.

Encrypted

Indicates whether the message is encrypted.

Encryption algorithm

Displays the name of the encryption algorithm that the sending application used to encrypt the message body.

If Unknown appears, the message is encrypted, but the Computer Management snap-in cannot display the algorithm that was used to encrypt the message.

If No appears in this area, the message is not encrypted.
