To provide users access to virtual desktops through Conexão com RemoteApp e Área de Trabalho, you must specify a server to provide redirection to the virtual desktops. Virtual desktops include virtual machines in s and área de trabalho virtual pessoals.

The redirection settings that you configure by using the Gerenciador de Conexão de Área de Trabalho Remota tool are used for connections to both s and área de trabalho virtual pessoals. You cannot specify different redirection settings for s and área de trabalho virtual pessoals.
Use the following procedure to configure the redirection settings for virtual desktops by using the Gerenciador de Conexão de Área de Trabalho Remota tool.

In the left pane, click RD Virtualization Host Servers, and then on the Action menu, click Properties.
In the Virtual Desktops Properties dialog box, on the Redirection Settings tab, in the Server name box, enter the NetBIOS name or the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the server that is configured to provide redirection.
To provide redirection for clients that are using Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) 6.1 or earlier, select the Enable redirection for earlier RDC versions check box, and then enter an alternative server name in the Alternative server name box. For information about alternative server names, see Configure an Alternative Server Name for Redirection.
When you are finished, click OK to close the Virtual Desktops Properties dialog box.
