A specific virtual machine that is hosted on a Virtualização da Área de Trabalho Remota (Virtualização RD) server can be assigned to a user in Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) to use as a área de trabalho virtual pessoal, which the user can then access by using Conexão com RemoteApp e Área de Trabalho.
The following are important considerations about assigning a área de trabalho virtual pessoal to a user in AD DS:
- The user and the virtual machine must both be members of an Active Directory domain.
- A user can be assigned only one área de trabalho virtual pessoal at a time.
- A virtual machine can be assigned as a área de trabalho virtual pessoal to only one user at a time.
- The functional level of your Active Directory domain must be at least Windows Server 2008.
- The name of the virtual machine in the Hyper-V Manager tool must match the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the computer.
To assign a specific virtual machine to a user as a área de trabalho virtual pessoal, use either of the following:
- The Assign Personal Virtual Desktop Wizard in the Gerenciador de Conexão de Área de Trabalho Remota tool.
- The Active Directory Users and Computers tool in Windows Server 2008 R2.
